The new Interceptor Floats are in tackle shops from next week! It's that time of year when the carp can often be found in the upper layers, and this makes them very susceptible to surface baits, as long as you have the right kit to present them! So it is the perfect time for us to release the fantastic new Interceptor Float range, which is the ultimate all-round surface controller float, with sizes covering everything from under your feet to long range fishing out in the middle of the lake. The colour of these inline floats has been carefully selected to make them as visible as possible from above the surface, so that the angler can see them as clearly as possible, but at the same time are almost invisible to carp below the surface. They are available in a variety of sizes, the smallest being just 5g which is perfect for flicking baits out close to the bank but where freelining won’t give you the casting accuracy or line control that you need.

Kwik Change Weights provide the angler with a multitude of balancing and weighting options. Available in four popular, practical sizes to cover a variety of uses. The weights are attached simply by stretching a piece of the rubber tube and placing into the slot. This forms a totally secure fixture that will not damage the line.

Crimping is a great way to achieve neat, strong connections, especially when you are using stiffer and/or thicker materials which can be hard to knot effectively – plus it allows you to get the hook link length right every time, which is especially useful for chod rigs.
