Acolyte Distance Feeder Tips are high-quality carbon tips exclusively designed to fit the Drennan Acolyte Distance Feeder rod range. Their large diameter rings aid distance casting and the smooth flow of main line and leaders. They are not compatible with other Acolyte models.

The 12ft Acolyte Distance Feeder rod is designed for fishing at long range and is capable of casting big feeders while retaining its fish playing action. This superbly powerful rod is capable of long range casting with feeders up to 3 oz (85g). With the right technique, distances approaching 80m can be achieved with remarkable accuracy

It is slightly more powerful than the 15ft Acolyte Ultra and a great choice for casting and controlling heavier floats. The N-Gauge Pro 12’ Feeder is the perfect rod choice for medium to long distance feeder work on both commercial and natural venues. The 12’ length makes this the ideal rod for distances of 40 metres plus and features a soft progressive action, but also hasincreased strength in the butt section, improving casting distance and accuracy.

The soft progressive action and optimum 11’ length makes this rod the ideal choice for a wide range of distances. The soft progressive action throughout the rod makes this perfect for winter and spring commercial fishing when you’re targeting everything that swims. It’s also equally at home on natural venues too, fished in conjunction with the lighter 0.75oz and 1oz tips, this is a fantastic skimmer and bream weapon. The Drennan Acolyte Plus 10ft Feeder is super slim and lightweight with reserves of power. It is more powerful than the Acolyte Ultra 10ft Feeder and set to be a popular choice on commercial fisheries where big fish are the target but only a modest cast is required. The 10ft Plus is great for hard-fighting fish like tench, chub, F1s and match-sized carp. The smooth, parabolic playing action still copes really well when smaller fish are hooked. The relatively short 10ft (3.05m) length really helps to bring fish much closer in for ease of netting.

The Specimen range of rods are extremely versatile, equally at home on rivers and stillwaters.  The four rods in this family are available in 11ft & 12ft at both 1¼lb & 1½lb test curves to cover all species from silverfish through to bigger Chub, Tench and Bream, using a wide verity of tactics including bolt rigs, method feeders, helicopter rigs and running rigs.

Both rods feature enlarged guides which improve casting and allow shockleader knots to fly through with ease. The incredible reserves of power in the middle and butt sections provide increased distance casting and accuracy of fully loaded feeders. Both rods are supplied with 2oz & 3oz Carbon Distance Feeder Tips. Optimum reel lines are 6lb (0.20mm) to 10lb (0.28mm) mono or 0.08 to 0.12mm braid. The 12ft 2-piece Distance Feeder has a recommend casting weight of up to 80g (2 3/4oz) and 13ft 3 piece Distance Feeder has a recommend casting weight of up to 100g (3 1/2oz).
