Coarse Rods

Coarse rods cover a vast range of rods from feeder fishing rods with extra fine tips for bite indication to the more tradtional style float fishing rods. 

Coarse fishing is based around rivers and lakes covering a huge range of species from gudgeon which may a couple of grams to catfish which may weigh 150lb+.

There are lots of lakes now that have been specifically designed for matches these are normally referred to as commercials.
