Kwik Links These clever bits of metalware allow you to change hook links or leads in the blink of an eye. Danny says: “I now use the Kwik Links for all of my fishing. I attach the link to the swivel that is held inside the inline or lead clip. I then tie an overhand loop in the end of the hook link making sure I tighten the knot fully, especially when I use the Hybrid Stiff material.

Korda Safe Zone Anti Tangle Sleeves Korda Anti Tangle sleeves have been specially designed to reduce tangles, they also help to push the hooklink away from the lead. When using coated hooklinks such as Hybrid or fluorocarbons like IQ, the rig will work best when the hooklink is laid out straight and away from the lead system.

Korda Tail Rubbers have become some what of an institution when it comes to finishing off a rig, they were originally designed as a purpose made connector between the top of an in line lead and the rig tube. Our own rubbers concentrate on one thing, connecting the lead and the tube leaving little or no lip for the hooklink to tangle around on the cast. Since then we have designed our own lead clips to fit the rubbers already made for the top of an in line, people also slide the lead down onto a rubber semi fixed over the hooklink swivel so if the line breaks the lead can pull off the rubber down the tube and off the end of the line, a semi fixed rig that turns into a running rig. They have a multitude of other applications, being of high quality rubber compound they will stretch over many things to conceal or neaten a part of the rig, some people use them at the end of the hooklink as it joins the swivel for neatness and who are we to argue. They feature two tungsten bands along their length, which help to pin your tackle to the lake bed in the area of your rig. They are extremely robust too, with a breaking strain of 30lb.

The essence of the system is that it will allow a snagged lead to pull off the rig, thus releasing the fish from the unseen snag or weed bed so you land it rather than lose it. If you were attached to a really big carp, would you forfeit the lead to guarantee you landed the carp? We know we would and it’s a small price to pay. All Korda packaging is overflowing with information on how to use the products effectively. This booklet expands and reinforces that information. The basic rule of the lead clip system is the lead must eject before the swivel pulls out. If the swivel comes out first the lead will never eject. Instead, the line will pull back and forth through the system like a running rig leaving the lead snagged and the fish too!

Hybrid Lead Clip Since its release, the Hybrid Lead Clip has established itself as the best clip on the market. It has one very simple purpose, and that's to help you ditch the lead if the fish you hook becomes snagged. The design features an integrally moulded Ring Swivel, ensuring that the swivel simply cannot pull free from its housing. This forces lead ejection in the event of it becoming jammed meaning that carp can be landed easily in weedy, snaggy conditions. The streamlined, one-piece design means there are no fiddly locking pegs or hinges to worry about - just connect the leader to one end and the rig to the other! The uprated arm allows leads up to 5oz to be cast safely even at extreme range and the clip is available in all four of the key Safe Zone colours: weedy green, clay, gravel and silt.

Korda hybrid Tail Rubbers creates a seamless join to tubing and leaders. They cover and protect large knots and are used when heavy lines and leaders are created (40lb plus).  They help prevent any tangles in your line. Ensure the clip is wet before pushing the Tail Rubber on and never push the Tail Rubber on fully. Available in two colours: Weed/Silt or Gravel/Clay
