Carp Reels
Carp reels fall in to two main catergories - standard bait runner and big pit. Big pits as the name suggests are designed more with distance casting involved with larger spools and better line lay. For over 30 years carp reels have been available with a bait runner system that allows the carp to pick up the bait and run but allows you to engage the reel with a simple turn of the handle. A lot of the big pit reels dont actually come with a bait runner system but often there are conversion kits available.
