SG2 Made from a super strong graphite composite material that offers strength, a light weight and corrosion resistance, the SG2 is an affordable spinning reel that’s built to last. It features many unique technological advances that you would not expect to find on a reel at this price point including our proprietary Dura Grease that protects against corrosion and wear, an aluminium handle with soft-touch knob, custom made T-clip that’s easy to use, and a spare graphite spool. The reel is also available with two different gear ratios, depending on the size you choose (1000 to 4000 available). Daiwa 19 Emblem 45 SCW QD Reel The 45mm profile is recognised as the ultimate spool size for big distance casting. This new generation of Emblem utilises a reduced oscillation speed called Slow Cross Wrap, enhancing the line lay. The result is lower consumption of casting energy during line release, when combined with the friction reducing double lip profile of the LC spool increases casting distance by more than 5%. Supplied with a shallow C and spare deep LD spool; (300m – 0.35mm and 530m – 0.35mm). The C spool allows filling of three spools from 1000m of mono. Retrieval is geared down at 4.9:1 but still cranks up to 104cm per handle turn.
