The Full Metal Body and Right Side plate, matched with a brass main gear and bearing supported pinion offer a drivetrain with unparalleled power, while the TiN Coated Level Wind System and Synchronized Drag and Level Wind system (*400 size only) give extra durability under high drags. Available in 200, 300 and 400 sizes with both standard and high speed gear ratios. Left hand models available in standard gear ratio only.

The Inertia reels are perfect for the angler that's constrained to a tight budget. These lower budget reels might be cheaper than our more expensive reels, but they still incorporate the high quality name Preston reels are known for. The middle reel in the range is the Inertia 420, this is a true all-rounder and will cope with a wide variety of fishing situations, from commercial feeder fishing to natural waggler work, this reel can do it all!

SG2 Made from a super strong graphite composite material that offers strength, a light weight and corrosion resistance, the SG2 is an affordable spinning reel that’s built to last. To complement the new range of ICON saltwater rods, we have designed a new and eye catching range of reels to partner up with each rod in the ICON range. All the reels feature saltwater resistant parts to ensure longevity of your tackle. The intelligent Magnofuge system has proven itself in the hands of thousands of anglers... literally. But now, it has been refined and improved even further. Working to new tolerances of engineering pushing standards to the extreme, taking individual microns into account! The designers have even challenged the direction in which the spool is machined in order to improve its balance. Within the magnetic control selection we have dared to make the lower end more free; somewhere that only the bravest will go! Key parts of the Magnofuge system have also been changed too refining the magnetic effect on the spools deceleration. And smoothness of all the reels operation hits a new level thanks to 9BB (8CRBB). What we have achieved may only be a few split seconds of improved efficiency and smoothness but it results in a dramatic difference of the conversion of casting power into distance. Quite simply it has been Super Tuned!
