Simply thread the hookbait onto your chosen Hair rig and allow the weight of your hook to set the slow sinking Wafter into a ‘critically-balanced’ position… The ‘Washed Out’ appearance of the Pastel Barrel Wafters is the first noticeable characteristic within this hookbait range - perfect for targeting wary or the pressured carp commonly found in today’s fisheries. Yet this light colour tone does not reflect the high attract nature of the hookbait containing high quality liquid flavours, enhancers and sweeteners used at optimum levels. Couple these visual and flavour stimulants with the barrel-like shape and poised, critical-balance of the wafter and you have an advanced hookbait that fish find difficult to resist or reject! Manilla Wafters Designed to replicate our Manilla Boilies, these round hookbaits will slowly sink under the weight of the hook. For anyone unfamiliar with the principal, the Manilla Wafters perfectly counteract the weight of your rig, leaving a critically balanced bait that will fool even the wariest of carp. You may note they come in a slightly different colour than the bottom baits but this is no accident, once the bottom baits have been immersed in water they will match the wafters perfectly. If you wish to increase attraction further still, then our Manilla Bait Glug and Bait Spray are available, making a combo we think is irresistible to any carp. Great as singles or fished over any of our Manilla products. Manilla Wafters are supplied in 130g tubs.

The Krill Dumbells Designed to replicate our Krill Boilies, the Krill Dumbells are made using the same base-mix, only with added soluble attractors. These dumbell-shaped, sinking hookbaits also come with an extra soluble coating to maximise their leakage and attraction. The Krill Dumbells make an ideal alternative hookbait for fishing over the Krill Active Mix and Krill Pellets. As well as this, they are a superb choice for stalking and short sessions as the fast acting coating maximises the instant attraction of these hookbaits. LIVE SYSTEM AIR BALL WAFTERS 15/18mm These critically balanced hookbaits are made from the same high quality base mix ingredients and liquids that are used in our successful freezer and shelf life baits of the same name. Made using the same ingredients as our Live System air ball pop ups, but with reduced buoyancy agent to create durable, attractive, neutrally buoyant hookbaits that waft around naturally.

A wafter should float, but sink slowly with the weight of a hook attached. This critically balances the wafter and makes it waft. Because it wafts when a fish is feeding, it will rise up more quickly than a standard bottom bait into the fish’s mouth resulting in more hooked fish. If it sinks without the weight of the hook then it is not a wafter, it is a normal sinking bait and will not work as a wafter should. Always check your wafter in a tub of water before using it. Band'um Wafters are a bait that has a buoyancy in between a bottom bait and a pop up, designed to counteract the weight of the hook. Perfect for using with a Method Feeder the Band'um Wafter sits just above the pile of pellets or groundbait on the Method Feeder which means when a fish feeds the Band'um Wafter shoots into the fish’s mouth leading to more and quicker bites. A Band'um is the perfect hookbait for using with a bait band, its unique cylindrical shape with bulbous ends means that they can be banded with ease using a Pellet Bander or a Bait Bander and the bait band sits neatly in the middle slimmer section of the Band'um, this means the hook sits perfectly just below the middle of the bait meaning more hooked fish. Also the Band'um is less likely to be pulled off the hair meaning you can fish more confidently and more efficiently. A Band'um Wafter is also an ideal bait for using on the pellet waggler, because it sinks more slowly than a standard bait the Band'um Wafter spends more time in the feeding zone than a standard bottom bait, giving the carp more opportunity to take it. Band'um Wafters are the hookbait choice of many experts as they are perfect for all species of fish including Carp, Bream, skimmers and F1’s. Because the buoyancy of the Band'um Wafter is counteracted by the weight of the hook and band, you will need to find the right hook for your presentation, usually between a 12 and a 16 is the right size to balance the Band'um Wafter but it will depend on the pattern of hook used.
