Swivels/Clips

These clips have been designed to be used on the snood, in order to make the snood removable and replaceable. The idea being that when a rig has snoods that are detachable, instead of using a different rig when only a minor adjustment is needed, the angler can simply remove (unclip) the snood from the rig body and attach (clip) another in its place to suit the situation (i.e. larger/smaller hooks or a pennel). Also using and storing these rigs is far easier, without having to untangle hook lengths (snoods) from the main body of the rig.

A revolutionary bait clip that will not only clip your baited hook behind the sinker, but lock it in place until impact with water. Great for off the ground casting and streamlining your rigs during flight.

Perfect for fishing over rough ground, this clever link combines as both a lead clip and weak link. During the rig construction the rig line is tied to the top of the loop and a section of weaker line is tied to the bottom of the loop, which is then tied to the weight.

A quick and easy way to form snood swivels coming off the main rig body. They feature a long crimp that has a welded in raised section which the eye of a rolling swivel sits in. This means the angler can slide the crimp swivel down the rig body line and crimp in place without the need for beads and separate crimping.

A super strong sized two rolling swivel which incorporates a hanging snap link. Ideal for attaching rigs to the shockleader when speed fishing and “double patting”. Also useful in rig construction as a lead link and for forming running ledger rigs where the mainline passes through the eye to the hook length with the weight attached to the clip.

Trident Kicker is a basic bait clip primarily designed to fish larger baits over rough ground, its simple design and inexpensive price tag makes it ideal for fishing in venues where tackle losses might be high. Suitable for all aerial casting styles and a wide range of hook sizes.

The Trident Roto Bait Clip is an innovative bait clip designed and developed by Trident Tackle in the UK.

Designed to go at either end of the rig body TERMA LINKS are our take on the original rig clip that have served us so well for many years but with some subtle improvements. As most anglers have experienced the tag on rig clips can be problematic in snagging just about everything, to reduce this manufacturers try to place the tag as close to the eye as possible which leaves very little to hold.
