Seadra Rig Springs are a must have when tying multi hook clip down rigs.

The spring helps to cushion the hook snoods against the stretch in the rig body caused by the strain of casting. By counteracting this line stretch the Seadra Rig Springs helps to keep all the hooks clipped in place so that the rig flies cleanly through the air on the cast.

When tying your rig the spring is fitted between the top snood swivel and its securing crimp. To correctly tension you need to clip all the hooks in place and then fasten the crimp under the spring so that the spring is just starting to be compressed.
