The main compartment is large enough to accommodate even the largest fixed spools on the market. Two separate, padded pockets to the side will carry two spare spools securely. The bag is well padded, and there is plenty of separation between the reel and the spools to ensure that neither the reel nor the spare spools will be damaged on transit.
