They are manufactured from 100% stainless steel to give an unbelievable strength to size ratio compared with traditional brass/nickel swivels. These swivels are far stronger than the traditional brass swivels allowing you to use a much smaller swivel without having to compromise on strength and reliability.

These clips have been designed to be used on the snood, in order to make the snood removable and replaceable. The idea being that when a rig has snoods that are detachable, instead of using a different rig when only a minor adjustment is needed, the angler can simply remove (unclip) the snood from the rig body and attach (clip) another in its place to suit the situation (i.e. larger/smaller hooks or a pennel). Also using and storing these rigs is far easier, without having to untangle hook lengths (snoods) from the main body of the rig.
