Constructed from thick 2mm neoprene material, Abu Garcia neoprene reel covers are designed to protect your favourite Abu Garcia reels during storage and transport. Covers are available in spinning, round reel and low profile options and allow anglers to protect their reel without having to remove them from the rod. High quality hook and loop fasteners hold the neoprene covers in place.

Daiwa 19 Emblem 45 SCW QD Reel The 45mm profile is recognised as the ultimate spool size for big distance casting. This new generation of Emblem utilises a reduced oscillation speed called Slow Cross Wrap, enhancing the line lay. The result is lower consumption of casting energy during line release, when combined with the friction reducing double lip profile of the LC spool increases casting distance by more than 5%. Supplied with a shallow C and spare deep LD spool; (300m – 0.35mm and 530m – 0.35mm). The C spool allows filling of three spools from 1000m of mono. Retrieval is geared down at 4.9:1 but still cranks up to 104cm per handle turn.

It has a machined aluminium spool and CNC machined aluminium handle with a grippy soft rubber knob for comfort. There is no anti-reverse on this reel, which helps to reduce any corrosion getting into the reel, and prevents accidental switching during the fight. The drag is well-balanced, smooth and highly adjustable. The 5+1 bearings make it a smooth running reel and the 5.1:1 retrieve balances a high pickup with power for bigger fish. An excellent reel to match up with our Hooligan bass rods.
