Multiplier Beach Casting Rods

The are two types of beachcasting rods which are based on the type of reel you use. multiplier rods differ from fixed spool rods in that they require more rings to keep the line from the blank. multiplier reels always had a reputation for being hard to use but modern beach reels come with a braking system normally involving magnets of some sort which make the dreaded birdsnest a thing of the past.
