The Spinner Swivel comes in size 11 and simply features a crook on one side of it, onto which the eye of your hook can easily be located and held in place with a Kicker. The other end has a normal swivel eye which a loop of Boom material can easily be crimped to. This simplifies everything and makes it less obtrusive, by doing away with a metal ring as part of the swivel.

This solid PVA tape has a narrow width. It will not tear on the cast and this ensures no residue is left around the hook once the tape has melted. This material is very strong when dry making it ideal for tying up the top of solid PVA bags.

There are number of rigs which utilise Shrink Tube, with the line aligner being one of the most common. It is stiff enough that it will maintain its shape, but once a fish is hooked it will straighten so that no damage is done – unlike with an actual bent hook.

Changing your hookbait has never been simpler, thanks to our Bait Screw Swivel which allows it to be done in seconds, and it compatible with many of the most popular rigs. They can be used on any rig as a substitute for a ring or micro ring swivel, including the spinner rig and IQ D-rig. They can be used with both bottom baits and pop-ups, and are simply screwed into the bait in a clockwise direction, and have the surface area to ensure that the boilie stays on during the cast. It has never been easier to use one of Korda boss Danny Fairbrass’ favourite rigs, as there is now a ready-tied DF Carp Rig, which is tied exactly how he would do it himself, using the same components. This is a highly effective rig, which can be used with bottom baits, wafters, or even pop-ups (with the addition of a counter balance weight), and the blowback style ring running on the shank, plus a piece of shrink tubing to give the hook an aggressive stance, mean that it has great hooking potential. It is tied using the Wide Gape pattern of hook to 15lb N-Trap Soft for size 6, 8 and 10 hooks, 20lb for size 4, and 30lb for size 2, with a size 8 swivel attached via a figure-of-eight loop knot at the other end. It is available in barbed or barbless, with a choice of a size 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 hook. You get one rig per packet.

The KD rig is an incredibly effective way of fishing buoyant baits and is a proven big fish catcher, as well as being very simple to tie, with a slight variation of a knotless knot. But if you don’t want to tie it yourself, then these ready rigs have been constructed using the same components and specifications that the top anglers at Korda use when making this themselves. N-Trap Soft coated braid is tied to an ultra-sharp Kurv Shank hook, with an appropriate breaking strain for the size of hook being used – 15lb for size 6, 8 and 20; 20lb for size 4; or 30lb for size 2. At the other end a figure-of-eight loop knot to a size 8 swivel provides plenty of movement and allow the rig to sit properly. It is available in barbed of barbless versions, with one rig per pack.
