In the 1970's a new breed of salmon poacher came forth. With easy access to nets, Bridport became the hub of the new way of life. By the end of the 1970's Bridport's infamous poachers were all over the telly, newspapers; heavily fined, even jailed. By the end of the 1990's only the hard few carried on. This book tells of one of who has spent 40 years catching salmon and the tales he and his friends remember.
