Fly fishing Rods

Fly fishing is seen as one of the more traditonal styles of fishing. Fly fishing is based around offering a immitation fly to the fish but without the use of weights etc. 

A speical line is used which is weighted to allow you to cast the fly to the fish and this is where a lot of the skill lies.  The fly cast is like no other that requires you to build momentum in the line using the rod to then be cast towards the fish. Fly rods have a very through action and oversize guides to allow the flow of the line with as little resistance as possible.
