The EGI OH SEARCH 3.5 is an egi lure designed for prospecting fishing, targeting active cephalopods. This model is equipped with a sound system in which all elements have been specifically selected to produce a vibration of approximately 600Hz—identified as the most effective frequency for attracting squid and cuttlefish. It stands out from other models thanks to its flat sides, which enhance its rolling action, and a small protrusion on its back (Strobe Fin) that generates flashing light effects during animations. These features allow it to be seen and heard from a great distance. The EGI OH SEARCH range features two eyes with phosphorescence at a wavelength of 490 nm, corresponding to the most perceptible light spectrum for cephalopods. This series is also equipped with NEON BRIGHT technology, offering UV blue, green, or red body colors (the three primary colors of light) to provide a wide range of light wavelength variations underwater. By matching the reflection color to the water color, the lure's reflection becomes more noticeable, increasing the cephalopods' predatory instinct. UV blue is best suited for clear waters and bright light conditions, UV green is ideal for murky water, and UV red is generally the most effective during low-light conditions in the morning and evening. The 3.5 size has a sinking speed of approximately 2.8 seconds per meter.

It is equipped with a lead sinker, and the specific shape of its body, along with its various features, allows it to maintain a perfectly stable horizontal position in the water, essential for optimizing cephalopod capture. Its perfect stability during descent is the result of the design of its body, the shape of its sinker, its uneven hook baskets, and the small Hydro Fin excrescence located at the back of its body. This excrescence also provides excellent water grip, helping it be less affected by the movements of the line.
