The final launch in our big-hitting trio of new releases is the long-awaited Krimp Tool.
We’ve been fielding questions about the release date for what seems like years but the big day is now very close. The clever system will allow us all to reach brand-new heights of neatness in rig creation!
The Krimps and Krimp tool have been designed to allow easy rig construction with stiff materials. In particular we’re really excited about the potential to create extremely neat loops for chod rigs.
Not only this but using Krimps will allow you to create chod rigs that are exactly the same length each and every time. There are two sizes of Krimp available which have been designed to suit different materials.
The smaller one will suit normal stiff materials and stiff coated braids like our Hybrid Stiff and the larger one is perfect for really thick materials (like 30lb plus mono).

You may be wondering what makes our version so special and unique? By incorporating real bloodworm within the bait, it replicates the attractive properties of one of the carp’s greatest natural food sources making the bait simply irresistible.
Predominantly a fishmeal base-mix, using LT-94 alongside milk proteins, soluble fish proteins, crustacean extracts, blood plasma and some trusty Robin Red. Not only does rig tubing stop the hook link from wrapping around the main line on the cast preventing a tangle, it also stops the fish coming in contact with the line during the fight. This is a vital safety aspect of the rig which we feel should not be ignored.
Danny has actually seen a carp roll on the line as it was being played and watched as scales fluttered down to the lake bed. When the carp was landed it had several white marks where the scales used to be. This was from a method feeder where no tubing was required because the hook link was squashed inside the method ball so it couldn't tangle.
But, for the sake of having some tubing on, which if you use it right doesn't have to spook the carp, you will ensure the fish stay as perfect as the moment they made the mistake of wanting your hook bait!
