Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same process as all our Active boilies, which involves a two stage coating made up of super soluble liquids along with fine, high-grade powders. The result is a paste layer, which surrounds each bait in a cocoon of attraction, once submerged, this breaks away, leaving a cloudy halo around each bait. Just like the freezer bait counterpart, Manilla Active Shelf Life is specifically designed to release its attractor package even in the coldest water temperatures, meaning the outer coating will break away incredibly quickly even in the winter months. This attribute is why it’s such a brilliant instant bait despite the limiting factors that cold water carp fishing entails.

What range would be complete without one of our legendary “Cloudys”, so here it is, the Cloudy Manilla Liquid. This natural liquid presents a combination of highly soluble liquid foods as well as salts and sugars that drive the fish into a feeding frenzy. Once applied to the swim, the Cloudy Manilla Liquid creates a hazy cloud that sits close to the lake bed, giving fish the confidence to feed freely. The Cloudy Manilla Liquid perfectly compliments the Manilla Active Mix, but we also like to add some Manilla Pellets and crushed Manilla Boilies to finish of the mix. Not only is it great for PVA mixes, it also makes the perfect addition to any spod mix to create a haze in your swim. Containing the same basemix and liquid package you will find in our range of bottom baits, with the added bonus of a natural toughening agent, this mix can be used to make anything from bottom baits to cork-ball pop-ups. If you want to customise your baits even further than just the size and shape of them, you can add anything from our Pure Naturals range to our Hookbait Kits. When commercial master Andy Bennett joined the Mainline Match team at the start of the year, he was very keen to create his own personal commercial groundbait mix for pole and feeder fishing, and that is where the Bagga Mix originated! The groundbait is crafted from a blend of different pellets that have diverse fishmeal and oil contents to give it the fishmeal and pellet smell. When you look closely you can see the multiple shades and speckles of various pellets in this groundbait.
