Bait & Attractors

Mainline Fluoro Pop-Ups are quite simply a must-have item for the dedicated carper. Combining two highly visual colours of pink and white with your favourite dedicated freezer bait flavours to create a high-attract hookbait selection with a food source signal… The result really does typify the term ‘the best of both worlds’ in so many different ways. Fluoro Pink & White Pop-Ups can be used to promote quicker bites from a feed of dedicated boilies or induce hookbait investigation from shy or lethargic. Not only do these bright pop-ups provide a great alternative hookbait when combined with heavy feed tactics, they also perform extremely well as ‘single’ hookbaits – especially when a food source flavour such as Cell or Hybrid is already established.

Super Carp Method Mix was one of Sonubaits first groundbaits which has stood the test of time and is still as popular today. It was designed for specimen carp fishing when using the Method feeder, it is a heavy, sticky mix that is full of pellets, fishmeal maize and hemp which has been crushed together to create a groundbait which contains some larger feed particles which help the mix break up to create a food rich feeding zone, perfect for carp.

Manilla Wafters Designed to replicate our Manilla Boilies, these round hookbaits will slowly sink under the weight of the hook. For anyone unfamiliar with the principal, the Manilla Wafters perfectly counteract the weight of your rig, leaving a critically balanced bait that will fool even the wariest of carp. You may note they come in a slightly different colour than the bottom baits but this is no accident, once the bottom baits have been immersed in water they will match the wafters perfectly. If you wish to increase attraction further still, then our Manilla Bait Glug and Bait Spray are available, making a combo we think is irresistible to any carp. Great as singles or fished over any of our Manilla products. Manilla Wafters are supplied in 130g tubs.

Made using a blend of liquid food products, paprika oleoresin, pure krill meal and a particularly potent fish protein extract, the thick, sticky liquid really clings to the bait and any hookbaits that are left to soak in the Krill Glug are given a real boost of attraction that will be released over a period of time.

Available in 2 sizes 4mm and 14mm these snails make for a fantastic hook-bait option either as singles or two or three on a hair. They have proved very successful for carp, chub, barbel and even specimen tench. Designed for river Barbel and used by all of Sonu Baits specialist consultants, it is a blend of crushed Hemp and Halibut pellets that have been coarsely ground together to create a mix perfect for the cage feeder, mesh feeder, river feeder or balling in. It also creates a great base for a PVA Stick Mix or a sloppy spod mix. When using through a feeder it can be mixed to create quite a sticky mix so it can be used even in flood conditions and the bigger particle size helps the groundbait break up and release from the feeder. The ground Hemp produces a very light oil which is released immediately, even in cold temperatures giving instant attraction and the heavier fish oils in Halibut pellets are released at a slower rate and keeps pumping out of the pellets as the water flows over them so drawing fish to the feeder for a prolonged period of time. The variation in the size of particles means that fish pick up the trail as the smaller bits get moved downstream creating a trail to the bigger bits which stay around the feeder.
