This strong, forged Mustad Red Bait Holder Hook features a reversed hook point for improved hook hold. It permits the point to come in contact with the mouth of the fish, without turning. This bait holder hook features two slices/barbs on the shank to better hold the bait in position and obscure the point. They are easy to attach to the hook, either via a simple half hitch knot or by passing the dongle through itself, putting the hook bend into the loop and pulling tight. To decrease the length of the dongle, an overhand knot will reduce the length by around 10mm. Adding in a knot creates a blob which helps to secure softer baits on the dongle when whipping on with Baitex.
