Asso Ultra Cast is a fluorocarbon coated high visibility line. The addition of the fluorocarbon give Ultra cast a noticeably smooth finish which reduces friction through the rod rings for improved casting performance. The Fluorocarbon coating also helps to prevent the ingress of water into the line which over prolonged use can give a 15% increase in retained strength over standard nylon lines. Asso have also managed to combine low stretch and suppleness into Ultra Cast to give smooth line flow from both fixed spool and multiplier reels. 4oz spool.
